Join the Minnesota Licensed Family Child Care Association Why Should I Join MLFCCA? While traveling around Minnesota, we are often asked "Why should I join MLFCCA?" There are a number of reasons. As providers, we want to see advancement of the child care profession. Now more than ever we want the recognition, the public acceptance, the prestige, the pay, and all the other rewards, both tangible and intangible, that should be associated with this profession. Becoming a member of this organization and making your voice heard is a leap towards achieving these goals. We can’t always rely on others to bring about what we want to happen: though there is strength in numbers, there must also be organization, a unifying voice for the family child care profession in Minnesota. MLFCCA is that voice -- your membership shows support and compels your voice to be heard as well. It is often said that to be treated as a professional, you must act as a professional. The best way to advance your professionalism is to belong to a professional organization, such as MLFCCA, and take advantage of the knowledge, resources, educational opportunities, and advocacy programs that come with membership. Please consider a membership at $30.00 a year - or save on multiple years. This is your organization... of providers... for providers.
MLFCCA gives you a lot:
NAFCC membership is $35.00 per year. Join with NAFCC and MLFCCA in an affiliate membership and save $5.00. An affiliate membership carries the identical benefits as a “standard” NAFCC membership. Through MLFCCA you save $5 and have the ease of joining and renewing both at the same time. Renewal dates need not be identical; your membership in either would be extended 12 months. * Benefits of NAFCC Membership *
